Your member leagues are run by volunteers, and every one of them keeps the books a little differently — a spreadsheet here, a notebook there, one league where only Dave knows how the prize fund works. BowlersDash is the app that makes those books consistent without asking you to police them.
What an association gets
We're a small, independent developer, so we'd rather tell you plainly what exists today than describe a roadmap.
The same arithmetic in every league
Dues, prize funds, lane fees, and payouts are calculated identically whether a league has 12 bowlers or 200. When two member leagues report their season, the numbers were produced the same way — so they're actually comparable. See exactly how the math works.
Records that export
A league's roster, results, and financial record export to standard CSV and JSON files a treasurer can email, archive, or open in any spreadsheet. Nothing is locked in a format only we can read, and no season ends with the data trapped on a departing officer's laptop.
Nothing for the association to host
Each member league keeps its own books, and BowlersDash does the syncing. There's no server for your association to stand up, no accounts for you to administer, and no requirement that you hold member leagues' financial records — so adopting it doesn't hand you a system to operate or a new liability to carry.
A handover that survives the officer
The most common way a member league loses its history is a treasurer stepping down. BowlersDash keeps a complete, readable season record and lets the outgoing officer hand it to the incoming one — so the association isn't reconstructing last season from memory.
What we don't offer yet
If you're evaluating software for an association, the roadmap slide is usually the least useful page in the deck. So here's the honest inventory of what doesn't exist today:
- No sanctioning-body integration. BowlersDash does not submit averages or membership data to any national or regional governing body, and is not certified or endorsed by one.
- No association-wide dashboard. There is no federation-level view that aggregates your member leagues into one screen. Each league is self-contained; sharing happens through exports.
- No bulk provisioning. Leagues are set up by their own officers. We can't create or configure member leagues on your behalf.
Some of these are things we'd genuinely like to build, and an association telling us which one matters most is the fastest way to move it up the list. But we'd rather you adopt BowlersDash for what it does this season than for what we hope to ship next one.
